The Sony A500L DSLR Camera and Lens is the camera for serious photographers. For a higher level of performance and exceptional picture quality the A500L features 12.3MP, CMOS image sensor, two types of Live View, Face Detection, Smile Shutter™ technology, tiltable 3.0" LCD, and up to 5 fps continuous shooting. There is a 18-55mm DT zoom lens included.
Live View Times Two
The Sony A500L DSLR Camera comes with two Live View modes, expanding your shooting opportunities. Eliminate the focus delay of other systems with Quick Auto Focus Live View. Manual Focus Check Live View provides precise 100% view and 7x/14x focus magnification for macro and tripod shots. You also get the 230K 3.0" LCD which tilts to let you frame high and low angle shots.

The Sony A500L DSLR Camera has an all-new 12.3-megapixel Exmor™ CMOS image sensor and BIONZ™ image processing engine. This combination delivers significantly improved image quality with high-sensitivity shooting at up to ISO12800. With separate chroma and luminance processing noise is reduced in high sensitivity shots without blurring fine detail.
Let Them Move
The A500L will help you focus on a subject fast with the 9-area tracking auto focus system. You can even use this in Live View mode. Capture movement in sports with a fast shutter speed and 5 frames/sec continuous shooting (optical VF) or 4 frames/sec (Live View).
